Abdul Muhaimin Abdul Malik on Land Transport and Related Matters (No. 2) Bill
The Land Transport and Related Matters (No. 2) Bill puts in place a clearer and more consistent framework for electric vehicle (EV) charging, said MP Abdul Muhaimin Abdul Malik. Speaking in parliament on Wednesday (Oct 7), he stressed the need to ensure that safety assurance is backed by data. There must also be support for the transition to EV charging, as well as assurances that Singapore’s charging network is fast and dense enough for the EV future it is working towards.
