Australian authorities are investigating possible links the country has with the flydubai co-pilot at the centre of an attack on flight FZ1073 en route to Israel on Sep 30. The co-pilot, who has been identified as an Omani national, is said to have studied in Melbourne between 2015 and 3017. UAE investigators have accused him of planning a "terrorist act", saying he attacked the captain with the cockpit's crash axe, before attempting to wrestle control of the plane. He had been barred from flying in his country over concerns about his extremist views. Natashya Gutierrez reports from Sydney.
