Conditional pardon for Malaysia's ex-PM Najib Razak

05:25 Min

There has been a second royal pardon for Malaysia's former prime minister. This time, it gives Najib Razak permission to serve the rest of his sentence at home, provided he meets certain conditions. They include paying a fine of around US$12 million and complying with terms set by the Pardons Board. This particular case is linked to the abuse of power, breach of trust and money laundering involving SRC International, a former company under state fund 1MDB. CNA Senior Correspondent Melissa Goh reports from Kuala Lumpur.
