Singapore ranks third in DBS' Global AI Financial Hub Index, behind New York and San Francisco

Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong has urged global AI players in Singapore to deepen the country's local workforce capabilities. Speaking at a dialogue session on AI readiness, he added that Singapore needs to stay ahead of the curve by continuing to attract global talent. Meanwhile, a new index released by DBS has ranked 15 global financial centres on how well they combine AI capability with trust and governance. Singapore is ranked third, behind New York and San Francisco in the New Global AI Financial Hub Index.
