Showcase and heritage trails of heartland merchants to roll out by end-2026

Singaporeans will soon discover more about the lives and stories of heartland merchants in their neighbourhoods. Two new initiatives will help showcase their heritage and charm, starting in Woodlands by the end of the year. The move comes as merchants there prepare for stiffer competition amid an expected shift in shopper behaviour with the upcoming RTS Link. As Natalie Ong finds out, merchants are also urged to adopt AI to improve their business.
