Indranee Rajah on family support measures announced at National Day Rally 2026

Singapore has rolled out successive measures aimed at making parenthood easier. They were announced by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at the National Day Rally on Aug 23. But even as support grows, the Total Fertility Rate continues to fall. CNA speaks to Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Indranee Rajah. She heads the National Population and Talent Division that oversees the Marriage and Parenthood portfolio.
