Grab, safety and rider associations launch course for delivery riders

There is a new safety course that is tailored to the demands of delivery riders on motorcycles. It will train them in skills like balancing heavy loads at the rear while navigating tight spaces, and responding safely to real-world conditions. It comes amid rising fatalities among platform workers. Four died in the first half of 2026, compared to two in 2025. Some of the fatal incidents involved other road users. Nicolas Ng reports.
