Nepal-Tibet floods: More than 1,300 missing as search for survivors continues
Experts warned that a blockage remaining upstream could trigger another flood.

TRISHULI, Nepal: More than 1,300 people are missing after catastrophic flash floods and landslides struck the Nepal-Tibet border, with at least 165 people killed.
Many of those missing are foreign tourists. They reportedly include two Singaporeans travelling with a tour group.
The disaster struck on Wednesday (Aug 26), sweeping away entire villages, roads and bridges. The US Geological Survey said a glacial collapse triggered the devastating flow of mud and debris.
Rescuers are racing to find survivors, while authorities have warned of the risk of a second flood.
